This is a bearing holder design consisting of two parts. For minimal weight use 2 pieces of the Std version. For any bearing holder that is required to trigger an end stop use one piece of the Stop_End version and one Std version.
The bearing should be held in by friction but is also prevented from leaving the holder by the partially closed ends.
For optimal fit it's advisable to print these with at least 3 outer perimeters to have sufficient material to cleanly tap. It's also recommended to print in the orientation in which the part is supplied.
I've made every effort I can aside from actually printing to test to ensure that these perform as intended. If you decide to print them and find a problem you are welcome to describe the issue to me. If I have time available I will try to address it.
03/03/2018 - Uploaded a version today which uses nuts rather than relying on threading the plastic.
Resolution:
0.2-0.32mm
Infill:
30-35% with 3 outer perimeters / top / bottom layers
Notes:
The infill could probably be tweaked a little lower as long as the perimeter count is good. 0.16mm layer height seems to work perfectly for ABS.
