Description
This is a 3D printable keycap remover, specifically designed for Cherry MX keys.
This is a very simple design, which uses two arms attached to a handle piece. The arms are pushed on either side of a key, and the handle is then pulled away from the keyboard to remove the keycap.
This device was designed with Cherry MX keycaps in mind, however it may work on different sized keycaps.
Printing Details
You will need to print:
- 1 Handle
- 2 Arms
The keycap remover in the photo was done using:
- 0.2 mm first layer height
- 0.2 mm layer height
- PLA
- Prusa i3 MK2
Once all the pieces are printed, slide the two arms into the handle piece and the keycap remover is ready for use.
