A bird house that is shaped like a rocket ship! So your bird friends can go on a space adventure! Or at least have a nice hanging birdhouse to live in. It has a ~4 cm diameter door opening, so it's good for smaller birds but maybe not tiny ones. But a bird is going to make up its own mind about where it wants to live. It is ventilated toward the bottom for comfortable nesting.
It is designed to 3D-print without supports. It may need a brim to keep it stuck to the bed. Depends on your printer, probably. My printer doesn't mind the curve at the top of door hole, but there is a version that has a door opening that is easier to print if your printer doesn't like overhangs. It can be scaled up or down, depending on how big you want it. The original prints at nearly 20cm tall, so it's pretty big without scaling, and it took me about 14 hours to print at slow (
Printed at .2mm resolution. I recommend printing with a brim, but it should not need supports. One of the files is has a more printable door hole if your printer doesn't like overhangs, so it can still print without supports. It can be scaled down or up.
