This is the training droid from episode IV that Luke trains with while wearing the blast helmet. Also known as a Marksman-H Combat Remote, Seeker Droid, or Training Remote. The base is a completely original design, intended to mimic the styling of the droid. It is about 6" in diameter. The paintjob was a little rushed, but it was sanded down and hand painted with acrylic paints.
Prints in 10 pieces including the "port inserts", which you will need 6 of. These are completely optional and provide a little extra detail inside the large ports. This was designed for realism, ease of printing, and ease of assembly. It does not require supports. The only downside is it is not a hollow sphere. Mine was printed at 15% infill and .2mm layer height. To save plastic you may be able to lower density down to around 10%.

Worked fine with 5% infill as well. Very nice prop. Thanks for the design.
