This piece is a cropped bust of an original bronze sculpture of Theodore Roosevelt sitting on a bench in the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Hall. A highly detailed piece, the depicted Roosevelt looks onwards into the hall to review his achievements for American history, namely the conservation and preservation of nature in his National Parks.
The full sculpture sits on a bench, inviting visitors to the museum and halls to sit beside him and share his pride.
