Magnetic Fingerboard

I'm not an Expert for Fingerboarding and Skating in general, but I was asked to design a printable model just for fun. At the beginning it was a challenge to create a fully working Board out of really small, thin parts. I used the tiniest bearings I ever saw (2 x 6 x 3 mm), equipped with rubber tires, cut form a matching tube (6 x 1 mm), for some good rolling wheels.
My personal highlight is the suspension. I always wanted to use magnetic force for this purpose and it works great. The resistance can be adjusted by adding different magnets (check the YouTube video). But for me the most fun is to let the board just bounce on the ground.

Ich bin eigentlich kein Experte für Fingerboarding und Skaten, aber ich wurde gebeten zum Spaß ein druckbares Modell zu konstruieren. Am Anfang war es schwierig ein voll funktionsfähiges Board aus kleinen, filigranen Teilen zusammenzubauen. Ich habe die kleinsten Lager verwendet, die ich jemals gesehen habe (2 x 6 x 3 mm), diese mit passenden Stücken von einem Gummischlauch überzogen (6 x 1 mm), um daraus gut rollende Räder zu machen.
Mein persönliches Highlight ist die Federung. Ich wollte schon lange Magnetkraft für diesen Zweck verwenden und es funktioniert super. Der Widerstand kann durch Hinzufügen verschiedener Magnete variiert werden (schaut euch das YouTube-Video an). Aber mir macht es am meisten Spaß, das Board einfach auf dem Boden springen zu lassen.

2. Axle bearing/Achslager - 4 Piece/Stück
8.8 x 6.2 x 2 mm

Its might be necessary to redrill the middle hole (Ø 3 mm) for a smooth axle movement, depending on print accuracy and squeezing of the first layer.

Möglicherweise muss man das mittlere Loch (Ø 3 mm) nachbohren um eine leichtgängige Achslagerung, ja nach Druckgenauigkeit und Verbreiterung der ersten Sicht.

3. Axle/Achse - 2 Piece/Stück

Add/Anbringen:
- 2x Bearing/Lager 692 ZZ - 2 x 6 x 3 mm + rubber tube tire/ Gummischlauch Reifen
- 1x Neodymium magnet/Neodym Magnet Ø 4 x 2 mm - Equipolar to the magnet in the board/ Gleichpolig zum Magnet im Board

4. Eyelet/Öse - 1 Piece/Stück
Ø 5.6 x 2 mm

I used superglue for all non-releasable connections.

It is possible to print without a support structure, but I recommend it for nicer curves of the board edges. A support angle of 30 ° has no effect on the remaining parts.
Exept the Board all parts are designed for the minimum possible wall thickness of the Anycubic Kossel: 0.8 mm. There’s also a Version with minimum 1.0 mm at the download files which is compatible for printers like my Vellmann K8200 (red Fingerboard). The axles require a different type of bearing: MR63 3 x 6 x 2.5 mm.

Es ist möglich ohne Stützkonstruktion zu drucken, aber ich empfehle es für gleichmäßige Radien der Board Kanten. Ein Support Winkel von 30° hat keine Auswirkungen auf die restlichen Teile.
Abgesehen vom Board sind alle Teile für die minimal mögliche Wandstärke des Druckers Anycubic Kossel konstruiert: 0,8 mm. Es gibt auch eine Version mit Minimum 1,0 mm bei den Download Dateien, die für Drucker wie meinen Vellmann K8200 geeignet ist (rotes Fingerboard). Die Achsen benötigen hierbei einen anderen Lagertyp: MR63 3 x 6 x 2,5 mm.
