I'd been meaning to make this design for a long time! Simple concept, just a twisted slice up the middle to account for the tolerance between the two printed halves. And it worked pretty well!
Enjoy!
New! A second version of the model has been added, and has no allowance for spacing between the two halves. And, it seems things print just fine and fit together, but that may not be the case with all printers, as tolerances do vary, so the original remains as-is. The reason for the inclusion is to facilitate scaling to larger sizes without the consequence of also scaling the tolerance factor.
Note: the "reuploaded" zero gap model is the same as the regular zero gap model - it's only there because some people were reporting 404 errors off the original file, and this was an easy fix :P
This is a vase mode print, so you'll want to enable that in your slicer! And, obviously, you'll need to print two of the things, and twist them together :)
