Design Brief

Thats right, you guessed, it's that magical time of year again! In this year’s Christmas competition, we are looking to bring Santa into the 21st century.

It’s been nearly 200 years since “The Night Before Christmas” was written and we want you to update the myth of Santa - with all his tools and decorations - for the next century. What would Santa’s sleigh look like if it was made today? What would his helpers look like? What kind of tools are in the workshop? How about redesigning the Holiday wreath, or decorations for the tree, stocking or dining table, but with with a modern twist?

There is no right or wrong here, we want you to flex your creative muscles and show us what you come up with. 8bit, low-poly, voxel, or a homage to your favourite movie or game.

The decision is up to you, you just make sure to design your creation using Tinkercad and upload direct to MyMiniFactory using the built-in “upload to myminifactory button” - Also, make sure to tag your creation in the description or title with “Tinkercad Christmas”.

Once your model has been uploaded to MyMiniFactory, remember to share it to Twitter to the hashtag #TinkerChristmas @MyMiniFactory @tinkercad @Gearbest @3dwox_sindoh

A panel of judges from MyMiniFactory and Tinkercad will decide on their favourite designs based your creativity, printability, and witchcraft!

Have you got a 3D printer?

We are giving away 1 Startt 3D printer for the best user printed design, so if you can, make sure you submit photos with your designs!
