BattleRoller is a tabletop mech battle game that captures the feeling of piloting giant robots and pulling off amazing moves like in classic Super Robot anime from the 80s.
Punk-1N the jack-o-bot here, isn't actually in the game; but it provides a great spooky addition for your desk. The Skull Shoulders can also double as pilot heads, or you can use the "Spook" head. It was disigned to work as either a flame (in side the jack-o-lantern) or as a cute ghost. The parts are designed to snap together so that they can be mixed and matched with other mecha from the game. Thanks to the connection points, the mech has 7 points of articulation and the Pilot has 1 at the neck.
The parts you'll need to print are:
* arm.stl (x2)
* fist left.stl - Needs support
* fist right.stl - Needs support
* body1.stl
* head - Spook.stl
* legs.stl
* pin.stl (x4)
* Skull Shoulder.stl (x2 or 3) - Needs support
* Pumpkin Body.stl
The parts listed as "Needs support" have connector pins attached to them so w/out support you'll run into problems. The rest of the parts should be fine to print support free. In fact, not having to clean support material out of a connector port on the bottom of the Pumpkin Body would be a good thing.
These parts were designed with ABS in mind. You can try it in other materials but I don't make any promises that it will work. I test printed all parts on a Lulzbot Mini with the following settings:
Material: ABS 2.85mm (Gizmodorks)
Layer Height: 0.18mm
Top/bottom: 2mm
Infill: 30%
Hot End: 250
Bed: 110
Support: Touching Build Plate
Lines
45 deg overhangs
x/y 1mm
z 0.25mm
Given the fickle nature of 3D printing what worked for me may not work for you, so use the settings that work best for your setup. The fist and shoulder files are really the only ones that need any supports, the rest should be okay to print without. The torso includes a "support blocker" in the port that's on the build plate that you may need to punch out. That's just to keep support material from getting up in the port and having that much more to try and remove.
