A CFD optimised part cooling and hot end duct for the stock Creality hotend as fitted to the majority of Creality 3D printers.
Good nozzle visibility with a height adjustable part cooling duct. A cable pylon for good cable management and strain relief is integrated. The mount does not rely on the heatsink screws so does not work loose over time as some other options do.
The duct and ABL mounts print with zero support. The hotend mount/duct uses minimal amounts of support. Please see the images for print orientation.
You'll need 3X M3x15mm to secure the hotend fan. Small self tapping screws will work for this too.
To secure the shroud to the carriage 2X M3x10mm socket cap head screws.
Ton secure the fan duct to the shroud, 1X M3x10 or 12mm socket cap head screw.
To secure the blower to the duct 1X M3x22mm Socket cap head screw and a single M3 washer.
You'll also need 3X M3 nuts to fit into the slots to provide the threads for the screws to thread into.
4-1-19: A revised duct has been uploaded to address an interference with the X carriage. The part is also now oriented correctly for printing.
7-1-19: A thin wall at the nozzle tip has been corrected.
11-3-19: A revision has been uploaded to accommodate the MicroSwiss hotend with improved clearance, increased vertical adjustment of the duct and an improved duct attachment using two bolts.
13-3-19: V2 of the revised shroud is uploaded to resolve an interference with the BLTouch.
