Brilliant design. Printed in colour changing PLA with no infill at 60mm/s. Going to paint it satin black I think.

Printed perfectly! Sprayed with black primer, sanded with 220 then sprayed again with Hammered Bronze. Did a final rub down with a rough microfiber cloth (used like sandpaper)... PLA is SunLu Gold

So Very Cool. Thanks so much for this, David! It was easy to print. I could have taken more time on this. Printed at .2 layer height. I could have taken more time sanding it down, tempted to go .12mm layer height. I couldn't wait to get this thing setup though. Automotive primer, flat black BBQ pit spray paint, some acrylic color paints, and some Rust-Oleum Triple Thick Glaze Spray.

Amazing model!!, I was able to print the bust part with 0% infill with any problems. Printed with hatchbox3d black PLA 85% scaled .14mm layers high 0% infill (Bust) 10% infill (Base) 40 mm/s to get the best results in details.

Darth Vader Bust scaled to fit and printed with base via supports using chitubox default settings. Hollowed to 1.5mm with 6mm drain holes. The drain on the base is on the bottom, the drain on the bust is on the back, covered by the base. Painted in flat dark iron and titanium silver.

Printer small at a test, maybe 50%. Came out great. Will be printing large version soon.

I printed this beautiful model on an Ender 3 in standard precision (ie: 0.2mm) with no infill for the bust as the author said. It works pretty well but be careful as the back of the bust seems brittle. I think that if I print it again I would use some infill for the bust. Anyway I love the design, and I wish to thanks David for it's model.

Eastman Vader PLA @ 195° on 65° bed. Supports from buildplate @ 30°. Skirt and 10% infill. Cura standard quality print. .4 nozzle on highly modified ender 5 plus. Primed and sprayed dark bronze then ha d buffed with angelus (leather laints) metallic bronze acrylic on shop rag.

Awesome design and printed really well. Primed with Vallejo white and then back and brushed with silver.

Printed on Elegoo Mars 2 Pro. Painted not so well, but I'm just learning. Learned making infill with SLA on this model... Looks awful when not painted.

This was a great model. It printed with no supports other than a widened brim for the bust. Primed it with matte black primer, painted on the details then gave it a coat of clear varnish. Thanks for the great design. :)
