This is a model of the Institute Rifle from Fallout 4. The model is split into multiple smaler parts to make printing easier, I also added some notches to simplify alignment and assembly. The Power Cell is split into to halfs and can fit a standard 9V battery (until you down-scale to lower than 80%) - for people who want to add light- and / or sound-effects.
Some parts need to be printed with support material. I found that it was best printing it with the square notches that connect the components together faced downward on the build platform. Doing this hides any possible unwanted marks on the object, caused by the support material when gluing components together. It was scaled down to 15% of its original size, with 15% infill and 0.3 mm layer thickness. Printing this Laser Rifle larger will leave less room for error.
