Here is my entry into the 'Support free Vase & Planter design competition' for September 2015.

This design is intended as a planter, either placed on a plate or buried slightly in the ground. With the intention that the plant eventually grows through the gaps. Although placing a liner in first before the soil, would work as well, it's completly up to you.

I had to do my test print at half scale in order for it to fit onto my printer, which both proves that it's printable and scalable to that size.

My scaled down version took 5 hours 12 minutes at 0.3mm layer thickness on a Flashforge Dual, using PLA.

The dimensions of the full sized model (included in the download) is approx 16.2 x 16.2 x 13.0 cm.
