This design will not receive any further revisions (unless someone specifically asks and I find the time).
If for some reason you want the source OpenSCAD file for this particular design to make a customised version please send me a message.
This is a different version of printable x-Axis parts for the left and right sides of the x carriage. The design prefers features that can generally be easily printed over optimal filament use. It incorporates holes for a total of 8 M3 square nuts (4 for each leadscrew part). The x idler position is slightly wider to accomodate toothed idler bearings so this file is not recommended if you do not have an idler wheel with raised edges to keep the belt in line.
I would also not recommend mixing these parts with those from other designs as the dimensions and rod positions may vary slightly from designer to designer. That said if you have the knowledge to be able to identify any possible problems please feel free to give it a go!
Note that my photo for the x motor mount shows an additional part which is not of my own design. If you're looking for the part attached to the front of the x motor I obtained this to print from the following user's thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1776429
The x motor part also uses an endstop mounting position similar to the version of the Anet A8 machine which was available at time of writing.
Resolution:
0.1-0.2mm - Pictured prints will have used 0.2mm
Infill:
40% Honeycomb pattern
Notes:
Using a brim of 6 perimeters and 1 layer thickness and 3 top and bottom layers. I have also specifically added supports for the x motor's large hole and square part of the rectangular part of the slot. Depending on your printing experience and material choice you may find this unnecessary.
