Printed on a DreamMaker Overlord pro using variable layer heights of. 12mm-.2mm. Hatchbox wood Pla used. White residue is left over from reducing layer lines using acetone an fine steel wool.

That Monoprice could make this happen. Getting the support structure out of the space next to the skull was a pain in the butt, though.

Scaled to actual human size head, painting was very hard as I have no knowledge of that, but tried my best. PS: was actually printed with a Lulzbot Taz6 but I don't know why it's not in the list of printers.

More work to do, but look great just off the printer. I used some old ColorFab BronzeFill.
I printed this at 60% size at 0.1mm layer height in matte white filament which really accentuates the detail. I printed it tilted back a bit so supports were mainly concentrated under the back of the chin and bottom of the back of the helmet. It took about 11 hours to print with 3 shells and it sits almost 5 inches or 8cm tall.
Turns out very nice. Thanks for the Design :D Filament from Sunlu doesend stick to bed (tested allot of temperatures), had to make a raft out of a different filament
Great model! printed at .16 layer height, had a filament runout that i caught early and only missed a couple layers. Bondo the line so its not noticeable. Sanded and sanded, filler primer a couple coats, base coat, hand paint/wash, then airbrush the rest with a tad of weathering. Very fun and awesome model!

Awesome model, had to print again and add a Halloween treatment when finishing. Printed on a Formbot Raptor 2, 0.6 nozzle, 0.2 layer height with Overture PLA.

Total height of this model is around 2-1/2 feet tall. The Trooper is about 8 inches or so. Inspiration is from a scene in The Mandalorian in which you see a group of Stormtrooper's helmets on spikes/spears. 56 hour print on an Ender 3. Sanded for days, Bondoed and sanded for more days. Paint is a mix between spray paint and airbrushing with acrylic. Weathering was fun with added sand for effect. Added "greeblies" to the base to indicate maybe this troop was attacked looking for droids. This was a gift for my brother in which on the bottom I wrote, "These WERE the droids you were looking for."

This is one heck of a model. I love the detail in this! I printed it at 50% with .15mm layer height, 10% infill and a .4mm Nozzle. I printed on his "back" with supports. I will likely print another at somewhere between 70%-80% since this turned out a little smaller than I wanted. I may also experiment with a lower layer height.

came out great, took 10.5 hours original size. Printed on Paramount PLA. Had a blast painting this thing.
Printed with Wanhao i3 v1 UPGRADED with z-braces, dampeners, and a RAMPS board with ABL and DRV8825 stepper drivers. ABS with no enclosure and fan at 50%. NO infill. ( I pretend to fill it with clay and sand ) 4 walls. ( 4mm nozle @ 235 degrees C.) Support ONLY touching the bed. Heated Bed @ 90 degrees C. + BuildTak. 0,05 MIND BLOWING LAYER HEIGHT! ( Amazing design btw ) Time to print 7:30 hs more or less...
One of my very first prints ever. I'm still playing with slicers and settings, but it came out great. I had some issues with supports, but I think that can be fixed in slicer settings. 0.15mm layers, 100% scale, took around 24h, but that's probably because my settings.

Here is my attempt. Came out pretty good. I am very pleased.0.15mm layer with support structures and printed a brim to get good adhesion. 75% scale. Build took about 14.5 hrs to print.

Without a doubt, I’m very late to the party of acetone smoothing ABS prints but this, for the lack of another word, glossy boi looks very cool indeed! Printed in Overture ABS using 0.2 mm layers on a Voron v0.2.
