Here's a different, more printable kaleidocycle!
This is a fun and fidgety design that turned my mind inside out to design! It's a kaleidocycle, which means that it turns inside out despite being made of regular hinges! Geometry is amazing! Now, this is a print-in-place design, and took many, many versions before it was feasible at all. I can't tell you how great it was to get to a point where it was reliably printable :P Make sure you read the printing notes for this one before you get started!
I hope you enjoy this thing as much as I have! :D
This is as printable as it can be under the circumstances, but it isn't an easy print! You'll need to be able to handle fairly steep overhanging angles, and your bed adhesion will need to be solid!
It looks like those shapes will meet in the middle and support each other, right? Nope! They never touch, because they're separate, hinged parts! So, they mustn't touch or else they'd be bonded together during printing.
That said, I've seen some fantastic examples of this print out there in all sorts of materials, so dial in your settings and go for it! :D

I can confirm. This model is easily printable, I've printed at least 3 at regular scale with no support and zero issues, and I don't have the best calibrated printers. That being said, it does have steep overhangs, tight tolerances and a small footprint for bed adhesion, so if printed without support, it also makes an excellent stress test and printer calibration benchmark model. I printed two, one after the other, on the same printer but with different hotend part cooling setups, and although both completed successfully, I could see a mark-able difference in print quality.
