Description
This marble statue is an example of what would normall guard tombs or large monuments. Originating from Greece in 400BC this impressive marble lion is larger than life and would warn others of entering of distrupting the tomb of the dead. This sculpture was transported to Rome during the imperial period.
This object is part of "Scan The World".
