Retro Nexus System V1.5
Retro Nexus System V1.5

It's a fairly straightforward case for your Raspberry Pi. (Tested with Pi 3, and 3 B+)
A departure from the stereotypical SNES style cases for retro gaming.
Designed with the intent to reduce the footprint of the system, it still has ample room
for small heatsinks and a 30mm x 30mm x 8mm fan. The system has plenty of
vents so heat is blown out through the top and side. The base is tall and hollow, as
to allow standard Micro USB charger and HDMI cords to fit.
The Nexus has a 16GB micro SD, and is run by a Raspberry Pi 3 B+. The OS is
Retropie 4.4 or above.(Retropie is built on Raspbian Stretch Lite) To be able to
run more power intensive games (PS1, N64, etc) I overclocked the Raspberry Pi
to 1500Mhz.
You will need a Bluetooth or USB connected controller, along with a Keyboard and Mouse to use Retropie.
The Case is designed with ease of removal of the Micro SD card in mind, for quick OS changes and updates.
WARNING: OVERCLOCKING YOUR PI CAN DESTROY IT AND VOID ANY WARRANTY, DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK! IF YOU DO, ACTIVE COOLING IS A MUST!
Because you can just reprint the Pi Console Case, I simply super glued it together;
but if you wish, the base can be mounted to the case with M2 x 4mm screws. The Plate will still need to be glued though.
