This print-in-place cog-driven box features two big sort-of-herringbone sprockets, an oddly-curved lid and a design that makes me squint and turn my head sideways trying to remember which bits go where. Actually, the first thing I did when pulling the final version off the printer was to try to open it from the wrong side :)

Designed for straightforward printing! No supports needed, no crazy angles. As always, take care that your bottom layer is neat, though, and watch out for any printing issues like stringing or overextrusion that might bind moving parts!

My first purchase was the Unified Vault. That turned out so well and blew me away I had to come back for more. I chose to purchase the Sprocket Box. Just like the vault this design does not disappoint. It is very stylish and mechanically amazing. Thank you again for your ability to design amazing print in place movable works of mechanical ingenuity. I printed this with Hatchbox PLA at 100% size. I had no issues and all mechanical movements are smooth as can be. Thanks again.
