The Royal Game Of Ur is one of the oldest games to be discovered. Predated only by the Egyptian game of Senet, the board found in 1920 is estimated to be about 5000 years old.
Ever since I found out about the existence of the game (3 days ago), I wanted to play it but unfortunately I couldn't find any vendor who sells it so I decided to make my own.
Beware that I haven't yet printed it since I just finished designing it. Also, it will be quite tricky to print since it has so many details but I wanted to stay true to the original game board.
You will also need to print 4 tetrahedron dice and make a mark at the tip of each one so when you trow the 4 dice, you will get a number from 0 to 4.
you will need to print several pawns and preferably paint half of them black or print them in black filament. But you don't have to limit yourself to just black and white, any other color combinations can work just as good.
Print the two parts then fit them together. Depending on your printer, the fit will be good or bad; if the fit is too lose, put some glue in, if it's to tight, sand it down a bit.
