''It wasn't me. It was the Third Man.''
The Mask of the Third Man is an exotic helmet from the game Destiny, designed to be used with the Bladedancer sublcass for Hunters.
The design shows a Hunters helmet with a Hive Skull mounted on the front of it.
THIS MODEL IS FULL SCALE AND WEARABLE! Follow my profile for more content like this soon. I would love to make a titan and a warlock helmet.
Made in Rhino, details added and sculpted in Z brush.
Like the Halo carbine in the images above? Check it out here.
More photos to come soon, including photos with Destiny weapons instead of Halo! Can't complain, both games are awesome!
A BIG THANK YOU goes out to Francesco Orru, Stefanos Anagnostopoulos, Danny Schunemann and Elliott Viles. These guys have taught me everything I know about Z brush and I will continue to develop my skills and produce more work which shows what can be produced from a collaboration between Rhino and ZBrush.
the helmet was printed in 5 parts. 3 parts for the front and 2 parts for the back. the front and back parts are built separately so that you can put the helmet on using 2 halves, instead of passing it over the top of your head. included in the zip file are connecting parts you can also use to help line up individual parts of the mask to help the building process. though these are not necessity if you wish to include glue in your parts. overall the helmet takes between 40 and 45 hours to build. part 1, 2 and 3 can all be printed without support. though part 4 will require a small amount of support and part 5 support for the overhang of the chin if orientated upside down before printing.

Love it! Chopped each piece in 1/2 for an 8x8x8 print bed. Couldn't be happier with the end result.
