I have created this piece to be used as an educational toy for children to learn their planets. It includes pluto and is fully interactive with moving parts and planets!
My Very Easy Method Just Speeds Up Naming Planets, is what I used to remember but now you have this model to give you a helping hand. Once printed, you can have fun painting all the planets in the colours they should be and make them memorable!
I printed the entire model with 8% infill and at 0.2mm layer height. The first print bed took 133 grams and 820 minutes The second was much shorter at only 360 minutes and 57 grams. You will have to glue the centre pieces into place so that they can hold up the model, and I also glued the planets together to make sure they held in place. Once these parts are glued you can begin assembling yourselves!
