Object Licensing
Following feedback from our community of designers and 3D printer owners, the MyMiniFactory platform uses the following licensing system when uploading and sharing objects. In every instance, ownership of the models remains with the designer. The objectives of the various license options are the following:
Paid Objects
Standard Digital File Store License
(for paid digital object files)
Digital files sold on MyMiniFactory through the digital file store have a strict non-commercial, personal use only license. You shall not share, sub-license, sell, rent, host, transfer, or distribute in any way the digital or 3D printed versions of this object, nor any other derivative work of this object in its digital or physical format (including - but not limited to - remixes of this object, and hosting on other digital platforms). The objects may not be used in any way whatsoever in which you charge money, collect fees, or receive any form of remuneration. The Standard Digital File Store License overrides any other licensing option on this page (in particular: no remixing and no commercial use allowed).

Models have a strict non-commercial, non-distribution license and shall be downloaded for personal use only. Consumer may not share, distribute, sell, rent, host, or transfer 3D printable file. Consumer may not print for commercial or mass production purposes. Each model may be downloaded for personal use only and may not be used for marketing, collecting money, fees, donations reimbursement or any remuneration purposes: Including but not limited to, selling prints, posting on ebay, etsy, shapeways, facebook shop or any other product or file distribution center. Any violation is subject to legal enforcement of intellectual property rights to the fullest extent of the law, including the seeking of criminal prosecution.
Free Objects
Always Maintain Licenses when Downloading and 3D Printing Objects
Designers share their designs on MyMiniFactory so that you can 3D print them. Please respect designers and the licensing attached to their uploaded objects.
Credit Designers When Sharing Links, Photos and Videos of Objects
You are encouraged to download objects, 3D print them, and spread the word. Designers spend dozens or sometimes even hundreds of hours creating amazing objects for 3D printing. Please take the time to credit the designer when sharing their work. You can usually find their social media handles on their MyMiniFactory profile if you want to credit them that way, otherwise you can share pictures of 3D prints, comments and messages directly from the object page.
Remixing

Some designers are happy for you to remix and share their work, some are not. Please check the license the designer has selected for their design on the object page. If you do remix their design and choose to share it, please make sure to share it back on MyMiniFactory and to credit the original designer.
Commercial Use

You might be able to use objects for your own commercial purposes - other designers strictly forbid this. The intentions of the designer will vary and can be seen on the individual object pages. Please respect designers and the licensing attached to their uploaded objects. When using objects commercially, please make sure to continue to mention the designer, including linking back to the object page on MyMiniFactory.
Exclusivity
Some designs are exclusively hosted on MyMiniFactory. Please do not upload exclusive objects anywhere else without the express permission from the designer. If you notice an exclusive design hosted outisde of MyMiniFactory, please contact us or message the designer.
As much as we try to keep licensing simple and readable, while focused on the digital sharing of free and paid digital 3D printable objects, if you have any other questions, or special needs for licensing when sharing your objects, please contact us.
