This is an adjustable chassis for mocking up 1/24-1/25 scale or similar size car bodies for RC or slot car chassis'. It's very basic, easy to print and assemble. It's very useful for figuring out the wheelbase and track width of model car bodies.
You can find wheel mock-ups here.

Assembling chassis
To assemble the chassis you will need the following:
x12 M1.6x8mm machine screws
x12 M1.6 nuts
x24 M1.6 washers
x2 2mm steel rods for axles or M2 threaded rods with nuts to secure wheels
You can order a hardware set here: https://shop.makeitrc.com/products/hardware-for-make-it-rc-1-24-1-25-scale-adjustable-mock-up-chassis-v1
The M1.6 hardware holds all 5 printed pieces together as shown in the above images. The nuts can be loosened to move individual sections. The steel rods or threaded rods will be used for axles.
How I Designed This
Model designed using Autodesk Fusion 360
The design process of this mock-up chassis was showcased in a video on the Make It RC YouTube channel. Skip to 2:19 to see the design process along with the assembly process and a demonstration of how to use the chassis to figure out the dimensions of a car bodies wheelbase and track width.
