Description
This is a slightly larger than life terracotta bust depicting a young woman with an uninvolved, distant look to her right shoulder. It was sculpted by Alfred Phillippe Roll who was primarily a painter from France (1 March 1846 – 27 October 1919). The work, titled Indifference and made in 1896(?) clearly presents Roll's paintilly skills and fine anatomy work.
