Description
This relief depicts a scene, when Zeus meets Leda in the shape of a swan. In this disguise he raped her, and she then became the mother of Helen (known as the Helen of Troy) and the Dioscuri twin brothers, Castor and Pollux. We can see winged Eros on the right, an altar behind Leda, and the entire scene is framed by two trees.
