A more beautiful printer!
This provides a pleasing, clean look to the front plate of the Prusa MK3. If you've moved your display off the printer (e.g. for easier use in an enclosure), you're left with a not-so-beautiful front plate. This easily removable yet snug fitting plate can be a sleek, minimalist cover or a canvas for a wealth of designs.
It clips on to the front plate where it is attached to the aluminum extrusions and hides the fasteners. The top thickness is minimized to ensure no interference with the print bed, and the clips hold tight enough that there are no worries about rattling.
Attached are 3 files. For the plain front cover, you need only print the one file. I've also attached an example of jazzing it up with a nice orange "PRUSA", which is printed as the cover in once piece and the letters as their own individual pieces, then the letters are placed into the corresponding cut outs.
This does require a tiny bit of support under both the clips to ensure everything is nice and snug. The letter cut outs do not need to be supported, as they'll be covered by the printed letters, so any minor imperfections from poor bridging are not a concern.
