Description
in an allegory of the battle between ood and evil, George, on horseback and in full armor like a medieval knight, raises his sword to slay the dragon that is lying on the ground. The scene is portrayed with very little drama, the saint has a resolute expression, the horses's hoof is on the dragon's head and it seems like the beast was defeated very easily.
