Hi,
I designed a spoolholder for Joel's (3D printing Nerd) filament rack. The basic spoolholder can be mounted by clipping the mount over the two wooden lumber pieces. Then you should be able to slide the 1kg spoolholder on the dovetails. You can replace the 1kg spoolholder by the 5kg spoolholder or the L-mount. At the end of the L-mount there's another dovetail-connection to slide the (first) 1kg spoolholder onto.
I wanted the spoolholder to have/be:
1. Strong and stiff.
2. Easily mountable.
3. Mountable under a spool (doesn't need space between spools).
4. Different holder positions (normal or L-shape).
5. Different spools (1-5kg).
6. No extra materials/tools needed.
7. No threaded parts (not always easy to print for beginners).
8. (most important) no need for supports.
9. Printeable on most standard printers (e.g. sizewise).
(my printer: Tevo Tornado)
Infil: 10-30% (you can use more, but will probably be a waste of filament, the structure should be strong enough).
Rafts: no
support: no
