Mechatronic engineer at the Univerisity of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy). In Sept 2015 I bought my first cartesian 3d printer, in June 2016 I built a totally custom Prusa i3, in Feb 2017 was joining the family my first assembled delta printer, in Nov 2017 was time to build the Hypercube 3D printer and in Apr 2018 a DLP machine joined the lineup. For my thesis I built the whole line to get 3D printer filament from PET bottles: shredder, extruder, diameter sensor and winder, and discussed the quality of that filament.
